Monsters

1st grade read the story, "I Need My Monster".  After they listened to the book, they made their own monsters from construction paper.  They focused on making all details out of paper and not drawing anything!

2nd grade just covered organic and geometric shapes.  They also learned about warm and cool colors.  Then, we made this artwork that included all of those things!

Abstract Shape Art

5th grade just completed their first project of the year!  We made abstract art out of shapes.  We talked about organic and geometric shapes and also talked about positive and negative space.  They turned out really great.
